In relation to the license attribution which organized by Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais (ANM) dated 26 March 2024 to Estrella Resources Limited (ESR) to carry out “Exploration to Metallic Minerals”. Therefore, on 8-9 June 2024, the said company fulfilled its obligation through organizing the Cultural Ceremony in the two areas such as, Postu Administrativu Lautem and Postu Administrativu Lospalos as its first activity prior to conducting the Mining Activity in the concession areas, MEL2023-CA-ZA001, MEL2023-CA-ZA002 and MEL2023-CA-ZA003.

On this occasion, the representative of the Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais as the Regulatory Authority in mining industry based on the Decree-Law No. 63/2023 of 6th September participated directly the Cultural Ceremony organized by the Estrella Resources Limited (ESR) together with its partner Murak Rai Timor.,E.P as the State-Owned Company.

Generally, the relevant entities which participated in the event of cultural ceremony comprised of Lia-Nain, community leaders (Xefi Suco), and representative of law enforcement (PNTL). The objective of the cultural ceremony is the company to put and respect the cultural values when performing or carrying out the Mining Activity in the concession area, and as part of asking permission to sacred spirit to show a way that the referred activity will not encounter a difficult situation in order to gain a positive result (as Timorense belief).

Thus, Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais (ANM) wishes “Good Luck”! To Estrella Resources and Murak Rai Timor.,E.P for its Evaluation and Exploration activities.
